A store the community owns
Discovery Co-op is a locally-owned co-operative. Its members are its owners, its profits return home, and its values are printed in its own pages: Service, Excellence, Teamwork.
How a co-op works
Everyone is welcome to shop at a Co-op location. Members go one step further: they own a share of the association, vote at the annual meeting, elect the board, and receive a portion of the profits as cash back or equity, based on their purchases through the year.
A strong social conscience has always been part of how Discovery Co-op operates. We run a strong, financially viable business that returns profits to our members, and we invest in the communities in which we operate. We are part of your hometown.
